Bangladesh’s strategic investments in infrastructure have exceeded $50 billion in the last 20 years, with significant contributions to the oil and gas, power, water, and transportation sectors. These investments have not only propelled the nation’s GDP growth of 6-7% but also set the stage for even greater expansion, as the government targets a 9% GDP growth by 2031 under its Vision 2041 framework.

Engr. Jamal U. Ahmed
Role: Director and Acting Managing Director
Background: A Chemical Engineering graduate from BUET (Batch 1978), Engr. Jamal brought years of expertise from his role at Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company until 1988. As a leader, he plays a pivotal role in driving Sunnex Limited’s vision and strategy.
Engr. Kamal U. Ahmed
Role: Director
Background: He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from BUET (Batch 1978), Engr. Kamal served in the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) until 1991. His technical acumen has been integral to the operational success of Sunnex Limited’s projects.
Nijam U. Ahmed
Role: Director
Background: With a Master’s degree in Finance from Dhaka University, Nijam U. Ahmed brings financial expertise and leadership to the company. He also serves as the Managing Director of A.N Associates.
Mahtab U. Ahmed
Role: Director
Background: A Master’s degree holder in Accounting from Dhaka University, Mahtab has played a key role in managing the financial operations of Sunnex Limited, ensuring fiscal responsibility and growth.

At Sunnex Limited, our greatest asset is our people. We are a dynamic and diverse team of highly skilled managers, engineers, and executives, each bringing their expertise and passion to every project. Our core team currently consists of 28 permanent employees, each playing an integral role in driving the company’s vision forward. In addition, the number of temporary staff fluctuates based on the scale and requirements of the projects we have at hand, allowing us to scale efficiently to meet project demands.

Our Legacy
Sunnex Limited: A Family Business Built on Vision and Integrity
Sunnex Limited is proud to be a family-owned enterprise, established in 1981 by the visionary Mr. A.N Amanullah. As the former Managing Director, Mr. Amanullah’s extensive experience, including his tenure as a Manager at the State Bank of Pakistan and his success as a prominent jute exporter in East Pakistan and Bangladesh, laid the foundation for Sunnex Limited’s growth and values.
After retiring from the jute business, Mr. Amanullah dedicated himself to Sunnex Limited, shaping it into a leader in the engineering and construction sector. A native of Dogachhi (Mia Bari, Kolapara), Sreenagar, Munshiganj, he settled in Narayanganj before moving permanently to Dhanmondi R/A in 1984. Though he passed away in 2016, his principles of hard work, innovation, and integrity continue to guide the company under the stewardship of his family.
